i do not think so they needed to get more cars into it and they are by new things like sqc
if you look at my set up and your set up for sq i think i will win but in sqc you may win becouse your set up is on sound quality not the level of detail in the installation

My main concerns are that install is seperate from SQ (which is good and bad). Seems to be a money grab to me. SPL and RTA are still being used, but now everyone gets judged on it, not just rookies and street. And there are to be no changes to the system between SPL and RTA. It won't be a problem for some cars, but it opens the doors a little for rule benders.

The new realism category seems good! But the score is rather low IMO.(only 10 points max)for the effort to get it..

On the RTA & SPL:
Are we forgetting the "Cheater black box" from Phoenix Gold to gain SPL and the remote control bass eqs people were using in the mid 90s. Basically to gain high SPL with ruler flat RTA curve. I guess those device is useful again...
Check out what Mark Eldridge have to say about the RTA (in CS&P). He's got a few good suggestions for IASCA. Clicky
