I'm finally happy.

I realized today, that I'm finally happy with how my car stereo sounds.

I've got:

infinity reference series 6x7's up front
^ Driven by a MTX 250x amp (You rock Blu!)
Stock rear fill
2x SWR 1242D's each in a 2.2 ft^3 ported enclosure
^ Driven by a DD M1a (Thank you LazyLuke)
All powered by a Pioneer DEH-P600UB

Got my gains set perfectly, Balance between subs and speakers set properly, At low volume the music has a nice bit of punch to it, and at high volumes it'll make your *** go numb with vibrations.

Now, I just need to get rid of my FREAKING GOD DAMN RATTLES. GOD HOW I HATE THE RATTLES. I dynamat'd the hatch, which helped some, but it still rattles, put closed cell foam on my plate, but it still rattles, Stripped out most of the cargo trim, but it still rattles. Put closed cell foam in the ceiling, but it still rattles.

Any tips on getting rid of rattles?

secondskin.com has everything you need. Find the metal-to-metal/plastic and plastic-to-plastic and put a sheet of rubber matting or even a towel between it.

^^^ they can't be worse than Dynamat Xtreme...

Nice to hear OP. Not many people can say the same thing. I don't think I'll ever be completely happy.

I was looking at the brown bread stuff. I'm just wondering how many rolls of it I'll go through. Stupid car and it's rattles.
