Built in crossover means there is a built in crossover for high/mid/low frequencies or whatever the deck has.

Face Style Detachable means that you can take the faceplate off(im pretty sure anyway)

Loudness/BBE/D-Bass means that it has one of those stupid loudness buttons that amplifies the signals and helps you blow your speakers

Memory stick is for those little memory cards that sony uses that is basically like the little chips you use to store music on MP3 players.

Motorized face speaks for itself.

Power is the wattage that the internal amplifier puts out. dont look for those numbers like 50 x 4. its like any other amp, you want to find the RMS wattage in it, it should be on the box/manual somewhere i think.

Pre-out voltage is pretty much self explanitory also.

Size DIN means how big it is, DIN is just the normal size that most cd players are.

the built in cross over i kinda under stand but what is a cross over to start with. and then the loundness bbe thing i guess i should stay away from decks with that option. pre out voltage thats for the amp and other things that can hook up to it right.

#1. please screarch google next time most of your questions could have been answered there or got to bcae and click in head units or cdplayers or what ever they call it

my advise for buying retail

when i have bougt anything retail go to a place thats reputable.and i have always found you get a better deal if you buy more things at once.if you have a friend that need something or wants some new subs get everything at once.

make sure you dont pay the sticker price.went to buy a deck the sticker said 350 but because i had shopped there before i walked out of there with it for 270 with 3 year warenty!!

when you have everything picked out and have worked out a price ask for taxes in.i went on boxing day and got a sub which retailed for $600 i got it for 250 taxes in

go early on boxing day visions has some extreme sales if you get there real early!!but dont expect the sales men to help you out.know what you are gonna be getting brfore you go.boxing day sales usly last longer than one day b/c stores make special purchases and then need to get rid of the inventory.

this is what has worked for me in the past at getting the best retail deals

Just dont buy a rampage or koss deck and it wont be so bad. personally I'd stay away from sony as well and stick to Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood and Clarion. IMO my 2 cents.
