I'm not talking about a true sq system, just that most of the stuff i see in shops seems to be like sealed boxes maybe some new speakers in the doors an amp in the back etc. not like true sq, I haven't seen too many people with kick panels, 3 way's up front, a load of sound deadenerand a bunch of equalization and worrying about wavelengths and imaging,I guess it would probably be better to say most people are kind of nuetral but are not willing to go the spl way either. Basically I was just trying to say i'm sure paul is not incapable of an "sq" setup.

True, but the same goes for home audio. How many people will spend 100k on Kimber Black Pearl interconnects besides a handful of Microsoft execs...probably rightly so. I've been a junky for this stuff since around '83 when I bought my first Concord deck (let's see how many people recognize that brand name with infinity 6x9's and blaupunk (sp?) tweats. Imaging wasn't really a concern. I was 16 and happy as hell to have a car and tunes...and relatively good tunes for the times. But that's how this obsession starts...If you're reading this go away, buy a house...right now

BTW thanks to everyone who offered their help. I didn't mean to start flammage...just needed some help. Please keep the help comming.

Well at my shop there are 3 of us here and between the 3 of us we have 15 years of experiance

We have installed alot of high end gear and made it sound really good

We do know how to setup good imaging, but I do not really have an intrest at setting up a 40/40 curve for iasca SQ but if the customer wants that that's not a problem

Droy if you want a quality install that will sound good and not fall apart drop us an e-mail!

Thanx
Paul
