Hey. I am going to do an install for someone, I will be running power wire, rca's, remote wire, basically an amp install for him. I don't know him, just wondering what a fair price to ask would be? This is going into a 1990 4 runner, he has an aftermarket deck, so I will have to pull the deck, hook up behind it, run power, do a ground, and run RCA's/REM wire. Thanks!

With this vehicle because the deck is such a royal pain in the *** (let's take apart the entire lower dash), I too would be around $90.00 + parts for this baby.

It's all about routine. I am so used to mine it's easy to accomplish in under 5 minutes to pull the deck and another 5-10minutes to replace it (mine is not sleeved). Although it's the only vehicle I can install so quickly into. Repetition is key.

How much do you like installing front speakers in a hardtop jeep? or rear 4x6 speakers in an extended cab chevy w/o breaking the panel?

Joe, I too had one of these trucks and can have a deck done in little time as well, but for those that have not done them, no doubt it will add time to the install. Jeep 4x6" speakers up front can suck my left nut, same with the Chevy PU and the cracking panels, even the new gm pickups, expect all the clips to snap on the rear panel below the window. Call the GM dealer and have them keep them in stock.

I have swapped in two different sets of 4x6's into my 92 Jeep, it is indeed a ****ty job. Cut hands and cursing, and trying not to poke a hole in the cone/tweeter on the mounting bolts is what that job usually entails.....
