used MTX 6500D amp powering a old school blue kenwood 12 inch in 1.8 Cubic feet box with a port 3 inch diameter 8 inches long and the damn thing hits so hard. I was going to originally put two subs in there but its not worth it. I think its my amp that makes it powerfull. Next thing to buy is a 12 inch sub with DVC so i can get a 2 ohm load from the amp.

 

when i installed my PG T500.2 on my JL W3v2 it made the thing pound like a ****, like never before lol, along with the pounding came more breaking of things in the trunk and light dimming .....Boom responsibily lol . good luck with your setup .

 

ya i get lots of vibrating ( things on dash, rear view mirrior ) but no light dimming for some reason.
