you can acchieve similar results with a metal funnel and a pot of boiling water

A great idea and a good read, more indepth knowledge gained here as well. A nice in a pinch short cut.

That and you could save a few bucks too.

4" port is like 30$ and a 6" is like 80$.

A guy could buy alot of pvc for that price.
