My friend wants to use the aux input on the stock ford explorer deck (6 disk changer). The explorer is 05. Is there a cable he can use directly?

I think the easiest way is this http://www.rcainput.com/Merchant2/me...D%2FAUX-V.1B.4 make a nice little cover plate, mount the 2 rca's in the dash, and use a 1/8 to rca cord [img]smile.gif[/img]

Does anyone know what the aux input n te back of the deck is? Is it RCA jacks?

Alpine's new HU's coming out later this fall with have an Ipod interface to allow hookup of your Ipods.

back to your question, does apple not have a cable available that will do this?

no, you need this to plug into the back of your sterio and then it will be just a simple 1/8 to RCA

That unit seems to be for older models not the 2005.
But yes that is the type of unit I am looking for.
