methlyene chloride... $3.50 at industrial plastics and paints for 60ml (this is actually quite a bit of this stuff... it doesn't look like much but it goes a long way.), plus 3.00 ish for the applicator bottle... (the bottle has a little needle on the end for placing the methylene right on the seam and under the seam... used it all the time for making p.o.p displays with one of my previous employers... there is another product called weld-on #4 or 5 (not quite sure of the name)... youd have to research that though, and they sell it at industrial plastics and paints also, a lot of places swear by that stuff.

yeah... ive never actually used the weld-on stuff but supposedly its good... i've used the methylene chloride a lot, because its cheap and my old boss was cheap... but it has the consistency of water so your parts have to fit just right. all the methylene does is melt the 2 pieces of plastic together..

This stuff is GREAT as a paint solvent and it doesn’t smell bad but it is hazardous (we banned it from our work site) USE VENTILATION and it’s a REALLY good paint remover so watch those painted surfaces!
