Thank you Sasha for your input.

My door panels are 3 way and I was always leaning towards the Dynaudio.
As far as the HU I see you are a Eclipse Fan. I do like the idea they have a 5 volt preout.

Thank you again and have a Very Merry Christmas

I am not sure if your current set of speakers is a 3way... but if it is a single 3 way speaker, that is very different then a 3 way component set.

Dynaudio are a nice speaker. Currently we are installing a new (but older set) of MB Quart 3 way components into a new BMW. I would also highly recommend the upper end Morel speakers if you are truly after a speaker with unparalleled tonal response. Eclipse on the dvd side is a great choice.

Good day to all,

I would really appreciate any help in regards to a good sounding speaker. Simply put, I enjoy all sorts of music but really enjoy smooth bass and accurate detail of instruments.
I hope someone out there has heard all 3 brands. Price is not a problem.
I am running a Audison LRx 5.1mt amp.
So enclosing, which speakers would be the best?
JL Audio ZR 650 csi
Hertz Mille MLK 165
Dynaudio Esotec system 362
I have no idea at the moment in regards to a good DVD/Video head unit.
any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Dynaudio, Morel and Focal would all be great choices. They are good sounding speakers from companies with decades of history manufacturing speakers both in car audio and home audio. They will each have their own unique sonic signature.

Dude, dynaudio isn't even in the same league as the JL and hertz speakers you are looking at, they are a million times better

Mr Burns 12-24-2007 08:57 AM

The way it's worded, what do you mean, the Hertz/JL are better, or the Dyn's?

PsychoAcoustics Canada 12-24-2007 09:26 AM

he means dynaudio is vastly superior than jl or hertz

looking for car audio installer and DLS speakers

Back in 2007 I posted a thread for a install for a 2004 Volvo S60. Well! I was unable to do the install since my health took a turn for the worse and after 3 years of fighting and a depleted bank account I am willing to go back at it. My first budget was $10,000 and now it is $2,000.
I am looking for DLS speakers and a shop in the Brampton area or within a 34 kilometer radius.
any help would be greatly apperciated.
I would like to thank all those who replied in the past and welcome any suggestions

If it means that your change in budget also means a change in equipment, I encourage you to pick up on the Eclipse deals that I have listed in the vendor sale section. It may help you maximize your investment and get you a good outcome. I have other deals on products that are not listed as well. Good to hear that your health has returned and that you still want to enjoy good sound.

Good to hear from you. I had a Eclipse subwoofer and amp. in my previous car. Are you just over stock on Eclipse?
What component set of Eclipse do you recommend for front stage?
For the time being I will use the stock rear speakers.
Price to included shipping from your store to my address.
thank you

I have the 2way 6.5" component speakers advertised for $219.99 right now. Best guess at shipping is $25.00, total including tax would be $257.25. The best deal if you can fit them is the 3way component set, on sale for $399.99, shipping would be about $32.00, total including tax would be about $453.60. I can only estimate the shipping for now without knowing the area code (and I am not at my store to know the size and weight of the box) but I have based it on similar size and weight of shipments I have made to Ontario so it should be very close.

Eclipse decided to concentrate only on double din and factory OEM systems. They are no longer going to produce aftermarket speakers, amplifiers, subs or cd players. (double din navigation and accessories they are though). They did not go out of business, there is still full warranty on everything. I bought 95% of the remaining inventory from the CDN distributor. Quantities are fairly limited and the pricing is very aggressive.
