Thanks for the props.....

So if he buys 3 more from me he'll have 4 (assuming his is the 8ohm model), we can build a killer box for 4 of them and then he can use anything up to 8-900W to get them moving.....

I am a bad influence....ask any of my friend's wives.....

lol PERFECT!! As long as he can make them fit. 4 of them should definitely take care of the thirst for BASS!! and not tax his electrical system much at all. Good luck with that!!

the one thats larger could be a W3

I have an OLD SCHOOL 10W6 so i know what the *** end looks like on it, and that isnt a large enough magnet to be a dub6

ha, ha, ... what you are looking at is an 11 year old W0 on the left and an 8 or so year old W0 on the right. I know the one on the left looks funny ..... you would have been about 10?? lol JK lol

I had to go look at mine to make sure.....

I have 3 of the newer ones......the impedance should be printed on the label on the back of the magnet.....might be interesting if it's an 8ohm....

You will have to test the old one with a DMM to find out its impedance. They look so entirely different because the one on the left doesn't have JLs VCC (voice coil cooling) system. When they came out with VCC they made all the motor structures deeper. I don't think you'll get the same response from both.

Another good theory down the tubes....

If they are both 4ohm drivers you can use them for now, separate chambers would be a good plan......
