I currently have two 8" JL w7's. But im wondering if i should get a single 12" T1 instead. My question is which would have more spl and which would have more sq? Which would hit lower? I dont think i could fit two 12"s in my talon or i would.

 

it'll all depend on the box......... those two 8's in the correct box should prob get as loud at one 12", but if your after more volume from your subs prob look at getting a 12"or 15"with more pwr, those w7 don't seem to like being over power'd at all

 

Ok well I am buying a box made for them soon so it should help then and be louder. I love the sound of the JLs but the 8's just arent that loud.

 

I don't know what kind of box you have now. But it you go from sealed to ported then it oculd be a pretty good difference.

 

I have a ported long truck box idk what the specs are but im buying a box that the guy had made for his 2 8w7s
