Is there any Canadian places, I have checked out parts express & they have a nice 1000w amp for $400 american +shipping+duty so like $750 . Thats not to bad of price, but if a guy could find a place here. Is there anything in Ontario or Quebec, cause I know alot of Canadian home audio comes out from that way.

I'd check out any music store that sells Pa equipment. They should have something for you.

partsexpress has a built in amp for 100 dollars i think 200 watts... should be able to get a pair of ported 8w6's moving nicely.... if you want to spring for the bigger amp..... i'd just go the PA route..... a crown 1200 or even 2400vz..... u can probably find them used on ebay for decent prices....

some others that may be of interest are qsc and crest... qsc should be the cheapest of the bunch but solid amps....

www.solen.ca

On the left tool bar you will see "accessories"
Click on that and it will bring up 4 different amplifiers.

For pricing, scroll down that page and you will see the download option. (it is .pdf, so you will need acrobat).

The company is based in Quebec, and from my experience ship things fast, safe and at a good cheap rate.
