I live in winnipeg and im wondering if any of you guys know of a place that will hire at 15 [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img] ? i would like to get into car audio installs but im really not sure if the is any place that would hire me b/c of my age. If you know of any place please let me know.

well when i was your age their was not much around. but then again i lived in a small town. the only place that would hire me is kfc. if you don't have any luck with the shops try the fast food places. thier always lookng to hire.

Why not try to 'apprentice' somewhere for a while and make yourself useful, and then try to get the boss to hire you after you've learned and proven yourself.

I know you can do it here in Toronto through a high school co-op program, so you get school credit for it too.

Dont know if anyone is going to actually PAY someone with no experience, but through the CO-op, you 'll at least be getting something.

 

I agree with Buffdaddy....I was in the RAP program through my school for a year...(registered apprenticeship program) and I learned alot, also did get payed 10$/hr to learn how to be a welder. The boss hired me after a year and I was then making 15$/hr while going to school. I was 16 when I started to get moeny...

Made more money then than I do now.

 

ya i forgot aboutthat i didn't think you could do that program at that age. meh you learn soemthing new every day

 

hey man.. wpg is tough to get into the instalers jobs! [img]graemlins/freak.gif[/img] they suually take ppl with expereince. By experience i mena, someone who is in the industry already for a while, and understands what's going on... but all the luck to you man! keep me updated...
