Just got the system back up and running( new prob) help please

well just installed another amp for my mids and highs...had them running off the deck before...and now...my subs arent playing as loud...is that because im sucking more juice b/c im running two amps? i mean its pretty drastic

anything?

1) Your running a 2nd amp. That means less power to ur sub amp
2) your mids/highs are amped now and playing MUCH louder and cleaner.

yea i can see that...but this much...i mean it seems like i lost half the bass i had before...i dont know what it is....i think i need a better bat and alt maybe...cap, line driver,..something....its just that i lost so much bass

its neither one. maybe when u played with rca's at the back of the deck u pluged the sub amp rca's in to the REAR output? maybe not exactly that but im pretty sure it has to do with rca or maybe sub/rear/full settin on the deck

im pretty sure i plugged the right rca's in...ill double check today though,

what gauge wire are you running? Could be the sub amp (looks to be a pretty heavy one too [img]graemlins/thumb.gif[/img] ) isn't getting enough juice now that you're running another amp.

im running 4 guage to the sub amp and 8 to the other smaller amp........do i need 0 guage? the amp only has room for a 4 gauge input..
