Can u wire 2 D1 subs down to 1 ohm or no , because im buying HDC3's for my other car and i have a choice between Audioque subs which are D1 or D2 which should i get to get a 1 ohm load ?

d2= 1ohm or 2ohm
d1= .5ohm or 1ohm

oups soo ya 2 d2 wired in 2ohm each will givce you your 1ohm load

If they are dual 1 ohm voice coil subs, and you are getting 2, then wire each subs dual voice coils in series giving 2 ohm load per sub (positive on one voice coil to the negative on the other), then parallel (remaining positives together and negatives together) to get 1 ohm.
