Kenwood suber sub?

Hey all

I was at a local shop today and I herd a sales guy mention something about a kenwood super sub and I had no idea what he was talking about. I remember kenwood having a massive 11" and 13" and I was was wondering if that is what he was talking about or if its something different.

Can anyone help me out?

they both are fused. The top is the original and the bottom is the new version. I would love to get my hands on the top one.

I know what you mean about the top one I remember when the kenwood rep came through my area and left it for display at the shop I was working at. 2 of the 13's in the back of a mazda hatchback it was loud lol but are they really still worth $600.00 each?

When these subs came out (2004ish) these were the biggest things from a mainstream company other than the solo x. So ya, they were pretty HUGE.

When they came out they were huge for kenwood. The only other sub that really went along with it was the massive Pioneer sub that took like 2400 watts just to move (actually installed one it was massive).

BUT the question is are the 13" subs still worth 700 bucks?

I guess they're worth what someone is willing to pay. I'd like to get one of the old ones just as a curiosity.

Is that a fuse so it can't blow up? That's genius!
