Slowly back away, dont make eye contact, keep going, now turn around and RUN. Hurry best buy is right behind you lol. It is all subjective man. You'd have to hear it to judge for yourself. I know the new kicker gear isnt as good as the old stuff. As for rockford i haven't really payed a whole lot of attention to them in awhile so i wont knock them.

I dont think you herd him.... RUN FASTER DAMNIT!!

I personaly HATE rockford...I think the kicker product is better... but not the vr's, the solo barics are a nice hit... and also i havent herd the kicker amps so cant say anything there.. have herd both rf subs and wen i herd the rf amps, i see smoke and fire ... havent seen one work yet ahahha

If you're looking for more bass certainly go for a Kicker Solo Baric. I've always heard people talk about discrepencies in clarity of bass between woofers but unless one woofer distorts more than the other, I don't think that the differece is terribly audible.

I'd simply choose Kicker because it's a proven name and I have yet to hear anything bad about the Solo Baric line. Make sure the woofer is given its required power and give er. In the case of Rockford I've just heard too much bad news about the company. Serious car audio freaks seem to be adverse to the companies which sell out (like rockford) and I'm sure their opinion is very justified.

I have heard a Comp Vr 10" in a factory Kicker box, running off of a Kicker KX150.2 (220 watts) and it is very very loud for what it is. Hope this helps a bit....

expensiver? buy what you like, not what someone tells you to like.

Not to mention that ifu go in and say what soundz better especially at like Future Shop or Best Buy or where someone doesnt know u or u dont know them they're gonna try n suck u into somethin so u'll come back or w/e lol Happened to me cept it dint work cuz the guy was useless n I saw right through him the first time he opened his mouth after what I said. lol Im looking for a nice loud setup I dont want sony's i also have a budget. what have u got? Well we only realy have these sonyz n such n it'l come to about. n yah way over the budget n so not worth it I was in there for 2 minutes lol

first it is "more expensive", and with rockford you are paying for the name so you are paying big $$$ for baisicly nothing, go to a real car audio store you can get some good equipment for decent coin, instead of going to bestbuy\future shop and pay a **** load for nothing...

Personally, either one does the job. My friend has 1 15" Kicker Comp VR in the back of his 68 Coronet 440..when the engine is off..its loud.

damn loud v8s:P

I have a RF Z 12" and it was satisfactory.
