i got a zx 1500.1 stable to 2 ohms what happens if i run it at 1ohm with gain @ half and my preouts from headunit are 2V?? will it fry and dye? or just get hot?

 

if its only 2 ohm stable..it isnt likely going to like a 1 ohm load...u will likely kill your amp

 

Actually... the Kicker ZX amps have been known to run at 1Ohm daily with no problems.. it's not rated that low though so just be careful

I've even heard of people running at .7 Ohms but I personally wouldn't do it.

 

like said before, you can run it at 1 ohm but it may go into protect. I personally would just get sub/s that can be wired to 2 ohms. I have that amp and its puts out some damn good power.
