Kx1200.1 output?

Ive just installed my new 12" cvrs in a box i made 1.5 cft per sub in a sealed boxw/divider.
I went ahead and got 2 dvc 2 0hm subs with the plan of adding 1 or 2 more subs in the future.
I figure 600watts rms would suffice for awile.
The subs are wired in series and paralelled to the amp for a 2 ohm load.
My problem is this,The output sucks!
I'm running a 4 awg wire to it with a 150 amp fuse
Same gauge ground bout 1.5 ft long.
Alternater is 105 amp.
The sub wiring is all hooked correct(im positive)
And i suspected the amp to have low output before the new subs but i blamed it on the subs(they were blauplunkt pro components)But they were 2 ohm coils so they demanded more power,thus they pounded harder than my new kickers? HELP [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img]
I havent yet done the "big three" Or if thats even my problem.
Is it expensive to have it tested for output?
Any advice?

Was just out friggin wuth it and heres what i did,I set the gain to about 1 o'clock and (subs barely move) Then upped the bass boost and stopped at 9 (1-18)It makes a HELL of alot of difference with the bass boost but is that set up safe?
also the deck bass level is +4
People have told me not to use the bass boost,"you dont need it"

I have "bass" but it is definatly not 600 watts worth
Wondering if the shop i got the amp from may have repaired a broken amp with some crappy parts inside thus giving me "shabby" performance?

With the impedence you're using, the amplifier will only put out 600w rms, that's 300watts per driver..hmmmmmm.
either you'll need to buy more subs or another amplifier(strap them together [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] )
dual 4 ohm would be louder,as those amplifiers need to be loaded down to use it's current capabilty to make power.
running it at 1/2 ohm might work for burps, but will let the magic smoke out daily driven.
i've seen subs assembled with the coils improperly marked.
disconnect the amp,and use a 9v battery to "pop" the driver + to + .
the subs should move in the same direction,if not, we've found your problem

Ya i was shooting for dual 4 ohm subs but the dude at the shop kinda convinced me to go this way and i agreed,cause another driver is in my near future but i just want to make sure there are no problems with this amp?
Seems 600 watts shoud bang harder than this....

So put the - wire on one side of battery and + wire on the other right?

Ya you're just not loading the amp down enough....1.5 sealed should be fine but your impedence seems to be wrong. Try another woofer when you have the money, and take the amp down to 1 ohm....should be getting close to 1400WRMS at 1 ohm and on 3 CVR's, you should be getting very loud.
I use a Rockford 301S on a single CVR12 and am probably hitting close to 135 without my bass boost. This is also in a ported enclosure, but you have twice the cone area as me and probably triple the power.
