Well...if thats going to be the case,I'm outta here...I will check in here once in a while for dates and shows,but you won't hear from me again...

Who knows..I might just give up car audio...If people are going to have that kind of attitude,I have better things to do....
I did this whole 8 track thing to make people laugh and smile.....but theres a few that just can't see that..
Is it because I'm winning with it?

Is it because I am doing something that most people would say is impossible?

Anyway.I will be keeping tabs....but no more posts.....apparently,I'm not very welcome here...which makes me wonder if I am welcome in the world of db drag/IASCA comp....
I need to rethink now about what I will do....
After comments like that.....I don't need it....
I'm doing something that is making a lot of people laugh and maybe scratch their heads abit.....but its all in good fun.....and isn't that what this all about????????

Hey, I dont post here too much cuz i spam out Termpro so bad so i dont really know what kind of $#!+ is hitting the fan, but...I think the 8track is a rad idea! Im all about it!

im new to this site
new to the whole spl thing.
i came on here at the advise of a db drag racer at one of the last few comps who said i could find out more about the car audio thing
i just read this email/letter from this 8 track guy
i ask the same question what did he do wrong to be bashed like he was?
im not sure i will be coming here too often if people are going to have such an attitude
like this guy i love the spl comps beacuse they are fun
i don't even have a car,but i go just for fun and exctiment
i say go for it 8 track guy!!

Team 8 Track: Keep in mind this is one person making the comments not the "forum". People are entitled to their opinions and we have to be the ones that make the decision to listen to their opinions or not. Don't think that if one person isn't crazy about your ideas, that you should stop doing somthing that you like to do.
Now on the other hand, I do have to somewhat agree that there have been numerous posts about they whole 8-track thing. I did a search by your username and flipped through your posts and the results were pretty amazing. Quite a few posts that maybe could have been condensed into a just a few. Just some food for thought.

i just got off the phone with 8 track boy,his exact words "if he beats me h2h at a comp in alberta(calgary/med hat)i will remove the 8 track,and "so&so"will never hear about it again"
yuuuuup.....nothin' like a good 'ol showdown.
all i need to say is,8tb's car is really loud,so put yer money where your mouth is or shut it
and with "small threats" i'll put a fiver in 8tb's behalf 'cause he's a 'lil bigger'n you.....thats my last $.02

Orion_95....if you come to Calgary/MH,and can beat me in head to head comp...in same class of course(we need to make this fair)..
I WILL REMOVE THE 8 TRACK FROM THE CAR IN FRONT OF YOU AND YOU WILL NEVER HEAR ANOTHER WORD ABOUT IT AGAIN!!
I don't know what you have for a system...I don't know what you have for a system..I don't know what kind of numbers you hit...but if its in the same class,I am willing to put forth this wager!
I run in the stock 160-261 class in IASCA...I would be street A in db Drag....
Your welcome to look over my sytem to make sure I am not cheating.I run no caps,no EQ's,no processors.
This challenge is to Orion_95 only!!
If you wish not to except,I will go back to Team 8 Track and continue to talk about it as I wish.

something i found kinda interesting.that guy has his location as smithers bc,but has his home page as a company out in burlington ontario......strange. 
maybe he lives in edmonton???

Well, what Orion said seemed kind of harsh. I am willing to bet he was just pointing out that you posted a lot of similar topics regarding your 8 Track player! I think he may have just commented about it a little too harshly! No need to leave the forum though. And as far as your posts go 8 Track, nothing wrong with them maybe just very similar so it seems like everytime we read one we are reading almost the same thing! I am also willing to bet 40-50% of the registered users on here have gotten picked on quite a bit from others! So don't take it personally. I know the Yankee has taken quite a few low blows from you Canadian Bastards!
