i know this is a car audio forum, but i figured i'd show you guys the latest custom paintjob i did. its a 96 sonoma that we shaved the door handles and antenna. he had all the wiring done, and i just mounted the solenoids and door poppers. then i laid on some flames for him. the masking of the flames took me almost 9 hours, but i think it was worth it! if i knew how to post pics i would just put them on here.

I work at JD Collision. Thats cool that you come here, there is alot of nice scenery at the beach all the time lol, and there are some kickass boats around here. I might have to come check that competition out. is it a family thing, or is it an actual event type of deal? As for trailering your bug up here, i think that would be awesome, i could think of a ton of cool stuff i could do to something like that. A local guy here is bringing us his '74 Cuda next month i think. He's stripping it down and hauling it to Edmonton to have it acid dipped, then dropping her off at our shop. While we got the car he's gonna build up the powertrain. Should be fun.

I'm not sure if he has had any problems with his susp, the owner never mentioned anything about any issues he has had. The truck isn't mine, i just painted it.

Ya, it's just an informal family thing. I will stop by and check you guys out for sure. There are a few things I want to do over the winter. I want hidden hinges and shaved rain gutters at the front to smooth the car out a bit. Also the last place that worked on it did a bad job of shaving the exhaust cutouts, so I want to make a removable rear apron for easier access to the engine. Then a respray, maybe colour change. </font>[/QUOTE]Yeah, you should stop by, we're on the mian drag right across from Extra Foods. If you want a color change, i got a custom chip book with some awesome colors in it. If you want to stay along the lines of green, i have the perfect one in mind. It's similar in the way my truck changes from orange to gold to copper, but this goes from green to almost lime, to something like Kawasaki green, with an awesome sparkle to it. It would look sweet on a beetle with all the round edges and curves.
