Lets hear some good storys....

Alright i just finshed argueing with my block the ****in hate me just because and as they would call it the "Boomer" haha found that one funny. but anyways.5 out of 10 times i have the subs half way up so one dude came to my house and bitched me out. I told him more you complain ill just turn it up even louder.. then we exchanged some good words. the ones you really take to heart. makes you proud to what you built.

Once i was driving in the states. when i come to a stop i like to be nice enough and turn it down on the subs. and just leave the high end Whatever. anyways this lady jumps out of here car i cames to my window and tears me a new one... haha of could i would do the sinceable thing and turn it up just like you would when your GF or wife is talking to you. its kinda funny when you know there yelling at you and all you see if there lips moving.

i just want to hear some kick ass storys about your stereo and complaints about it being to loud.

Lord Huggington 07-15-2007 12:52 PM

I've never had anyone complain, but one time I was pumping gas and my friend blasts late night tip. This lady beside us is telling someone on her cell "THE WHOLE CAR WAS SHAKING!!" I thought it was pretty funny.

Brad-S.A. 07-15-2007 01:35 PM

TBH I think you have to have a little respect for the areas you drive in. I never crank the system in any home areas especially my own. Much easier to live in the area when your not a disturber. Unless Klown comes to town then I here about it for days ;)

veeman 07-15-2007 01:54 PM

well sooner or later, if you keep pissing people off, they'll complain enough to have more, and/or stronger laws passed to restrict aftermarket stereos. Always remember, to audio geeks like us, loud systems are cool, but to the voting majority it's a pain in the ass and irritating. If they get angry enough, all our fun is over!! Just like the speed freaks are starting to learn that being reckless on public roads has already caused a serious backlash against aftermarket speed gear. Many insurance companies won't insure a vehicle with any aftermarket gear now, and cops are even looking for those cars on regular long weekend blitzes now...If you all just behaved a little, we could all enjoy this stuff forever....If we don't...we'll be dreaming of cool systems and fast cars while we're cruising in our factory oem equipped, cookie cutter cars!!

hahahahahaha That is too funny!!! Just wait til im done the new system, the neighbors will be complaining before I even turn onto your road!! lol.. Anyways I have a good story,
I was driving down a local road, and came to a red light, The stereo was almost off, bass knob was off, and this kid was makin some faces at me, So I instintively laugh, shake my head and his mom in the front seat looks in the mirror, gives me a dirty look and turns red with anger! So I look at the GF, turn the music up, roll my window down about half way, and just enough to hear the words of her (couldn't make it out, nor did I care) I cranked the bass knob, rattled her mirrors, her kid jumps forward and im laughin the WHOLE time!!! Gf is now laughin light turns green, she books it, I try to follow but Meh, Because of this whole event I made my point!! It was great..Other then that I try to keep it down in my area, My neighbors for the most part are quiet in the mornings, let me sleep in, so I return the favour of coasting my car in or not revving it like a wanna be gino, turn my stereo off(when I have one in) and when other kids come ripping through my area(freinds or not) I usually stop them tell them there are tons of lil ones running around free range and they usually stop what they are doing!! COmmon Courtesy :)

AyZe 07-15-2007 02:20 PM

Hmm worst ive had was wen me n my buddy where coming back from bc and we where runnin low on gas so i stop at mac's and fill up, i go in to pay and get sum smokes he starts the explorer(had 2 rf t1 12's in it ,powered by a zx1500.1)and proceeds to crank the goddamn system and it was bout 3AM and a stones throw away from alot of houses. Then cause the lights are dimming to hell a cop pulls up behind my truck and i come out of the store and im just like ohh ,he just gets outta the car and says " i am willing to bet theres sum people who gotta get up in the morning for work eh?!" i just told him i was in the store and he just said turn it off and dont crank it no more.I figured i was gonna get sum on that one.

justin1635 07-15-2007 03:31 PM

im with everyone here when they say courtesy.

but other then that.. especially the city i live in, your better off not you blast your subs especially when your about to park, just makes you a huge heatscore. and its even worse if you do it by your house. ive never had anyone complain, but then again i dont crank it in residential areas or anything. outside the cities/on the highway then go for it!

Hardwrkr 07-15-2007 07:33 PM

It's the idiots that drive around town with their stereo's wanging to get everyone's attention who end up whining because their gear got stolen.
What do you expect? You're out there pumping the Late Night Tip trying to impress some or cawk or whatever the morons are into and then you're shocked that you got a little of the wrong attention and someone followed you home and stole your gear.

Use a little common sense and keep your gear long enough to enjoy it.

QFT

When I had my 2 Mach5 18's in my wagon, I could do 146db with the windows down inside the car.... nobody in my neighbourhood or surrounding areas knew how loud my system was becuase I never cranked it up.

I had 2 18's sitting in the back of my wagon, in PLAIN VIEW, and nobody touched em in the 4 months they were there.

Lord Huggington 07-15-2007 10:43 PM

In the daytime I drove around with 2 12's almost-full volume, but they weren't even that loud outside from the car, mostly rattles. At night I turned it down anyways, if you don't you're an , it's kind of like a cop siren going off near your house, because to most people bass is 'noise', show some courtesy. I live in a very rural area though, so there's nobody to even complain :smilie_da .

Youre an idiot!
or should I call you bass hitler just cus you want to do it your way dont mean everybody else does. Guys like you are the reason why there is a 95db noise limit in places like mine
Time and place for everything dude learn it
I'm not knockin your way of life or even your stereo but just cus you got a big penis dont mean we all need to see it or in your case hear it.
Hope thats not to deap a metaphor for you:stroke:

SPLN00B2 07-16-2007 03:12 AM

The neighbors don't like it when I test, but I tell them to STFU since they have their damn dog barking at 5am.

ever since i lived in brantford my stereo is rarely on so you can even hear anything outside the car. i got lucky someone broke into my car, left the stereo stole my oakley's and a MD player...
i respect my neighbors and they do the same for me.

Tom.F.1 07-16-2007 09:47 AM

YUP, I'M THE OLD FART.

You're an . Hope you piss somebody off and they beat the out of you.

You have no right to disturb other people anywhere, anytime.

I like loud just as much as anybody, and i never disturb the neighbours...

I had some punk cut me off who couldn't hear and couldn't drive. I ran him off the road. then he was scared i was going to pull him out the window and beat , so i shut off his car, took the keys and drove away. Threw the keys in the closest river.

To this note, I agree with the cutting people off, Driving irratic is just asking to get in trouble!!! And the first part of this, sayin you HOPE he gets the kicked out of him, I don't think that is right man!!

As for the comment directed @ me, Its not like I drive around town blasting the out of my music ALL DAY EVERY DAY, so you should calm down as well, Its funny when people are E THUGS It honestly makes me laugh!!

And Yuli, hey as long as it pays your bills :P lol jk

veeman 07-16-2007 12:02 PM

well i don't think violence is a good thing, especially these days, you could end up with a bullet in your head. In my youthful days, I've had three occasions where a loaded gun was pointed at me...not a nice place to be!This is the reason why everyone has to have a little courtesy towards others. It's fun to turn it up, but please do it in the right place at the right time. Cruising the strip...perfectly fine, 3 a.m. sunday night in a residential neighbourhood...not so cool...and I can guarantee you that sooner or later someone is going to f**k up your ride!!

Killer_klown187 07-16-2007 12:18 PM

^^^ Exactley, I don't even show boat mine on the strip, to many people stare at my car as it is!! Hell I freak out at myself or the GF when either of us speed these days!! Courtesy!! And in all honestity, who HASNT turned there stuff up once and a while to show off???

97'scort 07-16-2007 02:03 PM

I subscribe to the school that says my system should sound great inside the car, but you shouldn't be able to hear it outside the car. So that's what I did.

Just on a side note, some of these posts are awfully hard to read. Doesn't anybody have spellcheck anymore?

You read my mind, I was just thinking to myself how bad people's spelling is. :eyes:

veeman 07-16-2007 04:49 PM

^^the spelling I can deal with, but simple sentence structure has obviously gone the way of the dodo!

bodar 07-16-2007 05:34 PM

i was driving uptown just to get a bite to eat. had my stereo just poundin' as i havent really been in it to much lately. look behind me and some cherries are followin. so i turn my stereo down and pull over. i told him that i knew i wasnt speeding, and what he pulled me over for. he said he could feel my truck as i drove past him. i didn't even see him or where he came from. so i started laughing, he said that if i get pulled over 1 more time its a 480 dollar noise violation ticket, also he said that it can be stunting also for an additional 250 bucks. WTF? stunting? how? so i asked, he said that with bass it can physically shake other vehicles and cause driver error. the only thing that saved me was i used to play on the cops sons baseball team and he remembered me.

so i got off with almost nothing. after he searched my truck, constantly making comments on why are these wires so big? how can you sit in here and listen to that? why do you need so many speakers? i almost had him convinced to sit in it. until he lost my license. yup he says the wind blew it and now he cant find it. so i had to give him my phone numbers. and i drove away with no license. i just got my license bak today. LOL

ive heard of stuff like that happening way to much...you have no idea who and or how many are in that car that cut you off at 3 a.m...ive heard of alot of people who tried to chase down someone that cut them off only to have them stop in a secluded area then like 4 guys get out then there car is ethier being trashed or they are the ones being chased....

theres also legal issues....if someone cuts you off and you run them off the road and get caught you are in deep S**t with the law....:sly:

i dunno jsut my 2 cents

veeman 07-17-2007 02:23 PM

it's not worth it...and by the way, I can guarantee you that every person that's been cut off...has cut someone off themselves at some point. I just hate the little bastards that constantly wind in and out of traffic while tailgating everyone...they need a little loving with my ball peen hammer!!

Ray 07-17-2007 02:53 PM
