right now I have it so I can hook up my portable MP3 player to the aux input on my Clarion DXZ615. The problem is, the headphone jack on the MP3 player doesnt supply much voltage at all. You have to crank it and the deck almost 100% to get some decent volume. I am wonderg if anybody knows of a CHEAP line driver out there that can boost the signal like a volt or so. I am also wondering if it would be simple to make one, anybody ever try this? I cant see myself spending like $100 on a 8volt PG or similar line driver. There has to be something out there like at rat shack...anybody have any thoughts?

I got a pair of PG line drivers for 25 bux each used. Dont think they come too cheap very often though. Buy a better deck if you dont want to shell out money for a line driver.

does the audio machine have a rotary volume ****? if so, you are saved, for you can access the secret megapower if you keep cranking the ****. now i know, you're afraid you'll break it, but you must be forceful to access the megapower. it is 750 watts of megapower, and it will turn your speakers to full bass and sound volume. want it louder?? keep turning the rotary **** to second stage ear destruction. only do this if trying to use the stereo as a weapon.
