Talking Lol, this is funny/stupid...

I was working on my car this morning and i had it running because it is cold outside. I was listening to a cd and a good song came on so i cranked it up. AHAHAHAHAHa, i feel stupid for even telling this... the battery meter behind the stearing wheel was going back and for about 1/4 of an inch with every beat of my subs. I was amazed by this and i thought it was funny and cool at the same time. Then it dawned on me that this could be screwing something up very badly so i jumped in the back and the clipping light on my amp was flashing with every beat. So i quickly turned the radio down. Do you guys think i could have permanetly damaged anything if it was running like that for about 15-20 seconds?

...and i know i have to get a voltmeter, I am planning on getting one when i upgrade the big 3.

you should be fine, you only played it for a little bit atleast you saw that something didnt seem right. you should look into some caps or adding another battery.

well...

I assume the defroster was on (and the full AC system), rear window defogger, head lights might have been on, the car was at idle, it was cold out and you have a good pounding sub and amp... you were asking for more current than the car could make at idle.

Shouldnt have damaged anything.
