Looking for an amp....
Hey guys im looking for some help in choosing an amplifier and need some suggestions, heres what im looking for:
1. 4 or 6 channel
2. Small footprint
3. Low THD at 4/8 ohm
4. putting out about 75RMS per channel
5. Budget = 300-500 but if there is an exceptional amp i will save up for it
anyone got an amp in mind? im looking to upgrade my audison SRX4 and go active. If i get the 4channel ill just go active, if i can get a 6 thats relatively small ill amp the back speakers which is just alot easier then rerunning them to the deck. the amp does not have to be active capable as i will be running everything off an audison bit one. I was looking at just getting a JL HD600/4 to match my 750/1 but im open to suggestions right now

Exceptional amp and small is the Arc Audio KS125.4mini. Arc Redirect

when i say small i mean approximately the same size as the Audison SRX 4, the older bluw model, approcimately 12in long, 6in high, and 1in thick....i like the Arc audio mini, any 6channels in the same size? i havnt seen any so i was hoping someone on here knew of one wanna go to a more SQ system this summer after my year of stupid purchases and what i call a costly learning process xD

That would be a no on a 6 channel from them but you can certainly always add the KS125.2 mini to bring some more power the party. Arc makes some incredible amplifiers, it would be ideal for some of the other manufacturers to return to building good equipment like this, sadly though, most people want the cheapest stuff with the biggest numbers these days.

Yea i heard ARC makes some incredible stuff, i was suppose to get 2 arc audio KAR amps but the guy i was buying them frmo stopped replying to my phone calls :S and yea i know all about the cheapest stuff with the most power lol when i first got into audio i started off with a PG Ryval8001 and a PG Octane 8.0:4, all i knew about were RMS numbers thats all then after a little bit of tinkering into audio and money, i learned xD lol so this summer is suppose 2 be my final build(HAHAH I KNWO IT WONT BE) wanan do it right, got a ton of goodies to go in my car this time!

if u wanna save up and go exceptional LRX 6.9 haha
the SRX amps are a great sounding amp and alot of the tech into the LRX is in the SRX amps. you dont have all the gadget and tuning available and flexability as the LRX but the power is nice and the specs knock anything out of the park.
if u can deal with a bit bigger size the EP Hertz 4 Channel is an awsome amp for the lower price... its power and THD cant be touched in that price cat
