Looking for a good 10" Shallow Sub. What to get?

Hi all, i currently have installed 1 12" MTX Thunder Thin subwoofer. When i first got it i loved it because i had never had a sub before, but after listening to it and trying to tune it i have decided to opt for 2 10" subwoofers, i have listened to a few different ones and have really liked how the 10s perform. I am looking at getting 2 Pioneer TS-SW251 subs along with a JL J2 1000 amp. Since the subs are 4ohm and dual coil i would hook them up in series, then hook them to the amp in parallel, this would mean i need an amp that can handle 400rms at 4ohm right? Would i be able to find a better 10" shallow sub? is there an amp that would drive the pioneers better? any opinions/advice is certainly welcome. PS the vehicle is a single cab truck so i need to use shallow subs because nothing else will fit behind the seat.

Hey, i just found a better subwoofer, Pioneer TS-SW2501S4. It is 300RMS 1200 peak, whereas the other one is rated at 200RMS and 800peak. What would be a good amp to run this setup?

Thumbs up

I have heard a couple of installs using this Kenwood Shallow 10" sub and they sounded very nice. They will take tons of power and 2 of them will do the job in your truck.
