i'm looking for a 3way (100-200rms, ditching my rear speakers and replacing amp too) setup for up front in my car.. budget of ~$300.. ebay/used is fine
my biggest problem is that there is no place near me to listen to different speakers in car audio shops

we have "car audio shops".. they stock lots of prefab boxes, cheap subs, and amps that push as high as 800rms.. you can listen to cheap coaxial speakers too :P

so i'm looking for something that can handle metal, rock, and trance and sound nice.. would like some advice on a pair of 12" subs too that handle the same types of music, but that will be another thread:P

only the x-over looks better then that... it has a clear case looks much better then that one!

and i can attest to the sound of em, im a metal/punk rock guy and i love that three way set!

Canton has a 3way set with a 10inch midbase, if you can fit that in the door maybe we can set somthing up! hehehe

 

holy mother haha - i think 6.5" will suffice
