Hey guys, ive been out of Car Audio for a while, and was thinking of upgrading my 2 12w3's for a single 10 or 12 w7, to go along with my Alpine 1507 AMplifier
Was looking at ebay for a Cost Efficient price, however im worried about warranty issue with ebay. They can't give me the JL Warranty can they?
Now if they can cool, if not. Where around in Ontario, can i purchase a JL sub, ill pay shipping, im just NOT BUYING from the store here in North Bay, not a fan of them at all.
Anyone got some stores i can hit up or is ebay a good choice?

the only warranty they 'could' give you would be that if the sub was defective they would warranty it, not JL themselves. thats the way it is 99% of the time with ebay. What does their warranty agreement say if any?

I really don't feel the 3ohm coil of the W7's will agree with a 1507. That's a fine amplifier but keep it at 4ohm mono.
IMO, you could go with a pair of W6v2's but the 1507 is a bit much power wise for them.
Look into the Resonant Engineering SE's. A pair would match the impedence and power just fine and they sound great without costing much cash.
Contact them direct.

in the ebay add it stats you get the 1 year from JL once the box is opened, but his store is more funiture then anything. Can i post the ebay link here?
Maybe i don't need new subs, currently im satisfied (kinda) with my 2 12w3's. im putting 900wrms to em. lol. but the DAIL on the amp is not turned up any.
but i find i can't get them "loud". once they do, it kinda sounsd like over excursion. but they aren't comming out far at all...
could it be my box? im sure it sealed, ive gto it siliconed, and i put plastercine for deading the box. was told that was good? so i did. and i got some polly fyll in it...
Resonant Engineering SE's, i will look them up.
