Looking To Purchase A New Sound System!

Hey all! I'm looking to purchase another sound system... and before I go spend a few grand on a sound system I though I'd get some input on it..

System: Clarion MAX675VD
Equalizer: Clarion EQS746
Speakers: Polk Audio MOMO Carbon MMC 690
Polk Audio MOMO Carbon MMC 650
Subwoofer: Diamond Audio D915D2/4 (x2)
Enclosure: Undecided
Amps: Undecided (thinking of Hifonics)

Sounds like a good setup, have you looked at Orion or US amps? I would also look at dd or RE for subs.

Amps: US Amps. (what one would you suggest to power the Polk MOMO speakers?)

how does RE or DB compare to Diamond Audio? and how does RE and DB compare to each other?

Well depends on what type of sound you are looking for. Re and DD are both really good companies. Diamond audio isn't a big spl sub so if you are looking for big boom I would be looking at DD or RE. For amps I would suggest either the MD or AX from U.S. amps

What's with the EQ? More than likely you will not even require it if you choose good equipment and install the equipment properly.

yeah but its nice to have.. for some fine tuning.

Which RE Subs would you recommend... since I would probably pick the XXX mean while the model down probably has more power then I'd use :P

Also how many amps would you recommend on the 2 subs and on the 4 speakers.

Are you looking for SPL or SQ. Maybe a nice loud daily driver?

all i can say about the diamond subs are wow. they sound amazing. straight up, one of the best sounding subs i have heard. also they can get loud and do it while still sounding amazing. re has good stuff, as well as dd. either way you cant go wrong.

what do you consider loud? any stereos you have heard that fit that bill? what was the equipment? you may consider my stereo loud which is in the 135db range, which most regular people would find loud. a single 12" diamond audio will do that and more, plus sound cleaner.(my sub is a 15" mach 5 maw with about 300rms to it)
