Hello There,

I don't know if I'm too picky on what I want as Specs for a car radio but it seems that I can't find a single unit that has what I want... If you could help, it would be appreciated. here is what I am looking for:

* Slot load - non detachable face: I want my radio to be flush with my dash and not having something that pops out, like a detachable faceplate

* CD/MP3/SDcard (or usb)

that's it.. I've looked on the internet and cannot find anything like this.

If any of you have one or a few models to recommend...

Have you looked at Eclipse?

Or how about the new JVC El Kameleon line? Talk about a FLAT faceplate, and I am sure some of them must have MP3 abilities. EL Kameleon

 

A older Eclipse might work for him, nothing in the current line up (save for the CD2000 but it has no USB) will work as they are all a detach face. The older series like the CD4000 is what he needs, AUX input, Ipod ready, however, the faceplate folds down for cd access, then folds back up for play. Would that work for you?
