Hello,
I was just wondering what anyone thought about MA subs? Good/Bad?
I found 3 10"s in a custom ported box,plexi glass front, mirrors on the inside, and strobe lights. And it comes with a 975 watt amp.
Would this be a decent setup? Is it going to thump?

me thinks that those 975 watts is max rating, not RMS.
I mean 3 tens with 900w rmx rated amp would be moving well.

imo, i'd avoid anything with plexi and lights (except for fish tanks). how much is that deal and how much is your budget determines a few things.

 

I'm not exactly sure of the model number. I know that the 975 is the max rating. Just wondering why you would avoid plexi glass? And i could probably get the set up for $400. Thats basically what i'm looking to spend.

 

Is it possible to buy an amp off of ebay and hook any subs up to it? What should I look for when buying an amp. I found a 4000 watt amp on ebay for about 150 shipped.
