Ultra Linear is a piece of shi.t..

I bought a couple 10s just to see what they sound like... I opened one of them to find that voice coil scrapes on the pole piece. How's that for linearity?

 

ya....ultralinear looked kinda low ball bottom of the line.....but MA and Visonik are what im really wondering about

 

I picked up an ultra linear amp to use till my car dies, or my tru tech amp is finally available, it works, a bit of a turn on thump, but that's about it.

 

I just picked up a Visonik V900XD all I can say is damn, it ran my buddies subs pretty damn good actually it gave them about 150-175rms more then there rating and everything went perfect. Pounded the hell outta them for about 4 hours, the amp was luke warm to the touch..

 

Actually there's a guy selling one on here still I think, I think he was asking 450$+shipping? I picked mine up from JoJo_Ownz for 335$.

 

sweet.......man everyone seems to know about Visonik amps....but has no one used their subs?

I would say yes.....My friend Jole has a 18" competition MA subwoofer from XS and it POUNDS! plus he only spent $250 on it..
