**** well i forgot his username, but yea...this guy is a real jerk, talked to him last week, he had an amp for sale, i asked him to hold it till this friday and id send him the cash then, he msgs me on msn last night asking if i still want the amp, i didnt see it untill he was logged off, i see him on tonight.....well heres the convo...

On the flip side, you know how many people have asked me to hold onto things and then NEVER come through. My policy is first with the cash gets the item.............. unless it for someone I know that will definitely be good for it and can be trusted.

But yeah, no reason for the guy to be an a$$ about it. So much of that going on now in the forums.............. people feeling real safe behind their keyboards. [img]graemlins/freak.gif[/img]

Well by What you said it looks like the guy tried too talk to you the night before about it but when you relized he messaged you,,,, he had logged off already... He may have felt cause you did not reply too him, you did not want it... so he sold it and made more....

also in you Converstation he said sorry a few times about the whole thing...?????

I dont see how he is Such a bad guy...... as dawgsbreakfeast said many people ahve said too hold things and never came through......

go with the first person that gets you the cash inless you know the person that wants it is good for the Money....

First money, first served. You should have done a down payment if you were serious about holding it.

This wasn't threadworthy.

 

I would normally agree, but if the seller said he would hold it until Friday, then he should have kept his word. If he said that he really needed to move it and 1st person with cash gets it, then that is perfectly understandable, but he should have conveyed that to Pride when Pride asked him to hold it. No matter how unconventional it is to hold stuff with no deposit, if the seller agreed to it, then it shouldn't matter what is "normally" done.
