i just need some subs now that can handle that power im pushing with it...these 4 yr old shockers that i have just arent cutting it...im only hitting a 144

What mic are you pulling a 144 on?

No offence but that seems a little low considering the power (over 2000W?) and cone area (2 15's?). You should be able to beat that with half the power with the right subs (on the average mic).

well my subs are VERY OLD and BEAT UP...and my box is tuned to 35 Hz

I dont know what mic it was....whatever mic was at the moffet car audio show last week

The mic he did that on was stuff.. and the subs are 4 years old..

OK...if you're usually closer to 150 with a low tune (by SPL standards)....that's loud... I don't see how you're going to beat that with only $500.

If you simply want better scores in comps....just build a new box.
