right now im in the market to replace my sub... im looking at either a 10 or 12 with dual 4 ohm voice coils... ill be running approximately 200 RMS @ 2ohms... it'll be in a sealed box...

ive been looking at the image dyanamics id v.3 & idq v.2, cdt classic, eclipse 87000 series (year old model), diamond audio m5 (also year old model), and any other suggestions you might have...

im particularly looking for a sub that has a lot of low end presence, quick, and tight... from what ive heard, the image dynamics should be a good choice...

would there be a big difference between a 10 and a 12? i already have a 10" box which makes it easier for me...

im just looking for some feedback on those models and any suggestions...

thanks

I agree, IDQ v2's are fantastic subs

I've run a few IDQ subs in the past, all 10s, nothing but good comments from me. I've got an IDQ v2 15 right now, havent had a chance to try it out though..

The new ID series is also quite good..

* correction * i thought there was a idq v.3, but alas there isnt... the id v.3 and idq v.2 both handle 250 RMS in the ten inch size...

also... what dealers are there for image dynamics in ontario/canada?

thanks for the dealer info John...

would you guys recommend an idq v.2 or a id v.3? both have same power handling but the idq supposedly goes lower?

if u dont mind me asking... where did you get your id v.3 and how much?

thanks
