200.1 is definetly NOT a 200 watt amp

if we went by amp ratings, then I hit over 150 with 1 12" and 400 watts

I managed 135.0 (new Termalb sensor) with 90wrms and two 12" JL 12W1's (8ohm SVC ea.)in a large sealed prefab enclosure in the 02 Civic. 140 is definately achievable if you get your combinations right.

He's probably just one of those guys that throws a number out there to sound good. My gf's friend said he hit 152 db in a mustang with 2 alpine type-r 12's and a total of 900wrms in a sealed box and stock electrical system. All you can say is, yup, umm hum, , ok there.

I find that in the SPL world, pressure values are like horsepower values. People "think" they have something, but are totally unsure

200 wrms on a single 15" in a wild box design /might/ get you to 140, but its debateable. The possibility exists - but then again, Elvis might not really be dead either right?

I call bull**** till I see a termlab screen

Someone told me he hit 190db with 2 pioneer IMPP's and a 1000W amp. I told him theres no such thing as 190 and he assured me he hit 190.
