Mirror rattle Fix

I had some severe mirror rattle the other day (Krazy by pitbull) anyway I went to Home Depot to look for MDF to build a box. Anyhow ran into a friend there who is also into car audio and I told him about this song and that I can't drive and listen to this song, cause I can't see out me rear view mirror, so he told me about this stuff and how well it worked.I removed the mirror and filled the gap with this stuff and then re-tightened the screw This is the stuff. It worked so well I used it to fix my radiator and a hose and my e-brake boot.I LOVE THIS STUFF!!!!!!
Just had to share. The rattle is now non existent.

Thnx
I have the same issue with my Impala. Just wanted to get your feedback as to where did you apply the adhesive. Between the windshield and mirror base or around the rear view mirror within it's housing ?
See my shitty Impala rear view mirror is glued to the windshield !!!! Believe it or not so i'm not sure it the rattleing comes from the windshield or from the plastic housing that contains the actual mirror.
I got an 18" Focal sub but i never crank it because of all the rattleing

Thanks
Leo

I removed the mirror and filled the underneath, where the mirror slides onto the windshield, and did all the orbital *****.So now i can't readjust the mirror but I'm the only one who drives my car.

if your mirror rattles take it off or get a good aftermarket mirror. all i did to take the rattle off mine is to tighten the screw as tight as possible

i didn't even think of that - so i could buy an aftermarket mirror that attaches to the windshield ?
might not work for me cause i got two lights at the bottom of the mirror and there is a ribbonlike flat wire that provides electricity for the lights
