Ya know...I had a great post here but I deleted it. You just want someone to argue with and usually I am totally ready to wade into the thick of it.

Today though I will remember this phrase: "Never argue with an idiot - people looking on might not know who is who."

hahaah True enough......

I do not want to agrue, just upset to see the career I got into go to hell when I tried so hard to make things right......ask Rob, I think at least you can agree with me on that I think they call it "Pasion" rather than argue

On another note: Thoughts on Panasonic dropping Car Audio??

Yes Claudio - I will certainly agree to that. Cheers.

Panasonic - yeah they were never a big player.... Nobody ran Pana amps or woofers and their coaxials were always on the low-cost wall. IMO their decks always sounded like dump too but they DID change a lot of the aesthetics of head units. People sure thought they wuz purty. I wanted one of the decks with the flip out center channel - not to use, it's horrible, but what a unique piece of car audio history. Matsushita has SO much else going on, I am sure they would rather concentrate on that.

personally i think the internet killed our industry..... befor you had to go to the shops to look at the newest latest and greatest stuff... the knowledge to install was learned by trial and error, and you couldnt buy the product anywhere eles... now..... look on any web site for ideas , look at all the newest stuff comming out 6 months befor it hits the stores, and buy you product from korea at 0.40 on the dollar..... how can we compete. well bruce decided to pay his installers salary and give free labor on alarms, so he buys his alarms for 59.bucks and charges 199 installed with l.f. he pays 9 bucks and hour and it takes roughly 2.5 hrs to put in an alarm soooo 9x2.5=22.50 plus the alarm of 59buck for a total of 81.50 less the 199.00 for a profit of $117.50. not to shabby....... now i worked there for 4 yrs and did......................at least 300 alarms per yr. and multiply that by x number of installers and you see bruce did very well just off alarms... but he turned over installers like mad! or maybe that was because of jim..
