mom in fort mcmurry---needs help

Hey guys;
Anyone on here from fort mcmurry???
My mom went up there with her 2005 malibu and somehow (don't know how) put a cd in the deck and there was already one in there (still don'tknow how) and now it is jamed.
All the stereo shops up there told her that it is an air sealed unit and they would have to rip it apart to retreive the cd's and that after that they would have to install an aftermarket deck becouse the stock deck would be usless.
To me this sounds fishy...am I wrong?
Is there anyone on here that can go to my sisters and help her out as she will be comming back on the 29th with no tunes and my neice and nephue.
And there are only so many versions of 99 bottles of beer on the wall.

Air sealed eh? .... so the fact that there's a big hole for the CD's to go in and out of doesn't make them think that maybe there's a bit of a leak?

If they're going to make up a story, they should at least make a good one.

Jamming a second CD in the unit *might* not be considered warranty repairable..
