Ill put a twist on this thread... I remember the days when I just got my first car and was paying about .35 cents a liter and i had a 80 liter tank! Ah the good old days

so you got your car in 1990
i remember working for Shell form 1987-1989 and seeing it go up a 1c and see what Outwore was .that was a fun place to work (you could not do that now in a work place)

No, he could have got his car in 1999 when gas went as low as 27 cents a litre. Oh man, do I remember, and miss, those days. I just got my first brand new Dakota R/T. $22 to fill the tank; what did I care if it got 12 mpg?? Now my Magnum R/T costs $70+ to fill, and it's a smaller tank. The anger and contempt I feel for oil company executives who set these prices, I cannot adequately describe in words....

Milk is .9925 per liter.

And we happily pay 2 bucks for a liter of water with a fancy name on the plastic bottle. (plastic is an oil by-product?)

Coca-Cola co. made record profits too. But most of their profit doesn't come from Coke anymore. It comes from bottled water.

Oil profits should be going to the hard workers who explore, mine, drill, ship and refine it. Not to the bankers.

The revolution is coming.....

Well, there's one SQ Iasca show you don't have to drive too far for..... is coming up in 2 weeks.

Just too bad there aren't much more after that one.
