Anyways, i personally dont care whether i use a monoblock or 2 channel amp, BUT, the monoblock is in alot of cases the better choice. It depends on the 2 channel amp really. If i can get a 2 channel big enough to power the subs in stereo mode, i kinda prefer it JUST in case i ever decide to use it towards something other than subs one day. But monoblocks in alot of cases will double their power as u load them down (usually more efficiently than 2 channel amps, at least with the ones i have used so far). I could be way off with this simply because i havent used any GOOD amps yet. Best amp i have used so far was my MTX 225HO....R.I.P. It still holds my door open when im bringin groceries in from the car, so i guess its still being put to use. I just hope to fix it one day. ......which by the way is a 2 channel amp also...

Like the excelon
I ran this excelon amp with 2 12 kaptions and it pounded the crap out of the 98 saturn that I owned. It was pumping so hard that one day the screw from the sunvisor fell out .. it actually rattled a screw from the front of my car loose! In My Opinion that is pretty good!
