Marco's car is too awesome. I had the pleasure of going for a cruise in it. Probably the nicest car ive been in. His back tires were (are?) slicks
And he sells good subs too.

Thanks guys!
i've got a bunch of pictures of the car itself but i need to scan them...
the digital pics i do have are mostly of the stereo under construction.
as Phil said, i just finished the dampening and it took a whole lot of Brown Bread to do the trunk and doors...
and now some pics...
these are the door panels.. pictures taken at night so the flash makes the pannels look brighter than they are. they hold 8" morels.

I am currently working on kick pannels up front but that just isn't going well... low stage height, skewed centre, blah blah.. so the kicks are not fixed yet. however, the speakers being used are Scan-Speak 12m 4631G00 4.5" midranges. ony 4's since they are more flexible with angles in a tight car like the 300Z especially with a 5 speed.
and more pics:
these are seriously great performing mids... the construction on them is phenomenal as is the fit and finish. with a frequency response of up to 8000hz they easily cover the vocal range completely... they sound as if they aren't even there. here's some specs from the d-s-t homepage
M/4631G00
Characteristic sensitivity (2.83V / 1m):89 dB
Recommended frequency range: 75 - 8000 Hz
Free air resonance frequency, fs: 75 Hz
DC resistance, Re :3.2 ohm
Voice coil inductance, Le:0.22 mH
Effective piston area, Sd:49 cm²
Moving mass incl. air, md:6.5 g
Mechanical loss, Rm:0.55 Ns/m
Force factor, BL:5.3 Tm
Equivalent volume, Vas:2.4 ltr.
Mechanical Q-factor, Qms:5.57
Electrical Q-factor, Qes:0.35
Total Q-factor, Qts:0.33
Excursion, lin./max.:±3 / ±7 mm
Voice coil diameter:38 mm
Rated power handling:40 W
Net weight:0.51 kg
they will be mated with Canton Tweets, taking over from +- 6.5 khz
For Amps, I am using a Mcintosh MC427 (100 wrms x 2 @ 4 ohms) to run the mid bass.
for the mids and twets, a Mcintosh MC431 (100 wrms x 4 @ 4 ohms)... no pics as of now.

Sub duties are taken care of by a Rockford Fosgate BD1500. you can see it tucked in there...
te sub is not purchased yet... either a 15" brahms or a JL 13W7. currently, using a 15" PG X-Max to fill in the sub frequencies.
for source, i will soon upgrading my Rio Car player to a 40 Gig drive...nothing like all your MP#'s at your fingertips...
here's the trusty deck
To make it all sound better, some Brown Bread was apllied through out the trunk and doors (evryhing else comes well dampened from factory!). Even the BB had only marginal effects on the trunk... the wheel wells attained the most benefit as they became quieter.
All teh work was done by myself (is there any other way?!?!)
