MTX 15" Thunder6000 - opinions

I recently purchased a 15" MTX Thunder6000 sub.

It was cheap as hell - pd $50 with an enclosure., from some guy that simply had to get rid of it, as it took up too much space.

I haven't hooked it up yet - and debating if I should put it in my Golf or the 4Runner.

I was wondering if anybody else has had any experience with this sub. And which amp I should use to push it.

I love base - but thinking about going towards SQ for actual driving enjoyment.

Thanks in Advance

I found that the MTX line with the "000" at the end, as apposed to the "500" series aren't as good. No vented pole peice, very low power handling.(1500watts peak), which is good, I would suggest into the 4runner :d more room for that bad boy to work!!! and amp wise, anything that pushes close to 1500 you should be Good to go
