MTX 2160, very nice amp. I would love to help you fix that baby. Are you going to repair it yourself, and are just trying to identify the part numbers?

I took some ok pics with my camera. i will need to scan them when i get them developed.
I will definately fix it myself.
I can`t identify a cap and a diode.
they are near the power supply
Do you have this amp?

DOH. (_8^()
I didnt see his signature.
My luck huh!
any way.
3 items.
- 16 pin TL494CN (burnt and cracked)
- C9 is not even there.
- 1 diode is split in half near those 2 other burnt out parts (its the only one near the transformer and the 16 pin chip
Thanks.

the chip looks like you modulator chip usually mtx uses a upc-494 or a tl-494
and i would say that probably indicates your power supply and maybe one or both of outputs are probably poofed to
they usually use buz-11 for there power supplys and outputs

Bux-11?
I know what the chip is. but why is it fried?
people are suggesting the power transistors, But they look fine.
