Mtx AMP

Hey guy I think i trust everyone on this website more then i trust people at stores so i have a question. Its already kinda late but i just bought a MTX TA81001 I payed 346.25 after shipping and tax did i get a good deal and is this amp good. It was kind of a power buy but i still wanna know if its good.

yea it is a great amp. i put a 5601 mtx in to the girls car and it is powering three 12s" and it does great. alot the remote bass **** looks and feels cheap altho works great.

umm for now i'm going to be powing 2 10's the MTX thunders 500 Serise
But by the end of this week i should have it powering 2 MTX 12's sledge hammers 700series

Well made amp and a solid performer. I would say you paid about average for one in good condition.

I paid the same for my TA 7801 a couple years ago. So id say you got a good deal. The 7801 runs abit hot at 1 ohm but has never turned off on me.
Its a good amp, if i were you id run two mtx 9500 10's off it.

guys im realy confused i dont know what subs i should get im thinking alpines or MTX can anyone help me out on my choice I want quality and power but something thats not going to blow

It's a great amp, I'm running the same thing in my car to power a 9500 10"... everyone is amazed to hear it's only a 10... they usually think it's 3 12's or a pair of 15's.
