MTX Amps? Quality?

So our local audio dealer is going outta business, which sucks, but also rocks cuz hes letting stuff go cheap. Hes got all these MTZ Thunder Elites, which look freakin sweet, and he will sell me them to me for cost cuz i buy so much from him.
I was wondering how they do for sound quality? Im not going for top of the line audiophile equipment, just general sound quality, and since there so cheap all the speakers would be run active.

they do rated power, and sometimes more on good electrical. if you get them for cheap, go for it

yeah they're pretty decent amps. the biggest one i've seen in use was the TC8001 and i had a friend's TC6001 in my van for a week and a bit, both are really good. seemed to deliver the power needed. if you're getting them at cost might as well buy a few and sell them

i find the TC has no SQ to it. dont ask me how i noticed but i find that comparing to another amp the TC series just throws power and nothing else. while the other sends more musical notes to the bass

the thunder elite is the good stuff. underated also but only by 100 to 300 watts
