I have owned 3-MXA amps in the past. (4004/6004/8001) all have put out very good clean power. the disadvantages of these amps are deffinately the gain *****. it is not a gradual increase as the gain **** goes up...it is all or nothing. It is a very frustrating set up process. These amps are also manufactured in China. A cost cutting measure not used on other MTX amps. If you get a good deal on it, pick it up, just know what you're getting in to. peace
