hey, so I'm on a bit of a budget and i was wonder, does any one here have any experience with the MTX Road Thunder series amps and Subs? The amp is the Road Thunder RT202 not sure what model the sub is, all i now is it's a 12" with a box. It's the package that Canadian Tire carries, Includes 12" sub with a new black carbon fibre look, amp, enclosure and wiring. I'm just wondering, is it worth $299? will it be loud? will you be able to here the bass? or is it just a waste of $338.98?

lol for 320 ill give ya 2 alpine type E 10's in a sealed box and a 4ga wiring kit, (not a 8 like the 1 u get from that mtx kit) and a 400 wrms monoblock aswell

 

go see rob at forbiddin (mr2nr) and ask him what he can do for $400

i do not know ,but i like going to someone who does the work all day long ,to going to a box store and asking a boxboy what i need

 

My friend bought one and it's seriosly not worth the 300 some odd dollars your gonna pay for it. The amp, as low powered as it is, isn't that bad, but the sub is crap. If your looking for loud then deffinately stay away. You can buy some way better stuff for 300 bux!

 

I've already been talking to Rob, got my deck form him. The only reasons i was looking at it is because i work there so i get a discount, and i want BASS now, i don't have much $$ right now. I'll probably only have like $400 tops by Friday.

Got another question for ya, what would be better 2 10's or 2 12's? the subs are going into my 2001 Acura Integra.

are you looking at the same subs 10 - 12

 

i want sound quality, but i do want to be able to turn it up and be herd. Not really looking at any subs in particular. Rob was telling me about some Ultimates(12's) he said 2 12's and a box, but then i need to save for the amp and install, soo..... what do you think would be good to spend $400 for subs, box, amp, and install?

 

So what sorta equipment can i get for $400, I'm looking for couple subs a box amp and wiring, i would prefer new as well.
