MTX thunder 425OD

MTX thunder 425OD

I having a problem with one of these, It's getting power(power lights on and voltage is correct)and no parts are are visibally fried, when I plug and replug the speaker wires I get a little thump but no sound output....any help would be great.

The RCA output that you are using on the deck, is it the rear or a sub out. If its a sub output some decks have a feature to turn the sub off which basically disables that sub RCA.

Make sure that your rca's are plugged into the input and not the output, turn the xover all the way up along with the bass eq, then start turning up the gain. If that fails find a external device like a walkman and plug it in directly to the amp. If that fails then you have an amp problem.

sounds like a signal problem to me as well, not the amp.

I've tried it in two different cars, both give no output. It's my buddies amp, when he turned on his stereo one morning the amp had no output, ....Thanks for the all the input
